Ocean View Spar is located on your way to the Atlantic Villa and offers a bookshop,  bottle store, laundromat, car wash, pharmacy and doctors rooms apart from a large convenient store and ATM's.
Vineta Shopping Centre is located more towards Swakopmund town centre,  and offers a convenient store, some line shops including a movie rental shop, pharmacy,  and gas station directly adjacent to the shopping centre.

• Sand and Dune-boarding - slide down the dunes lying down on a dune boards or standing up on the surf board

• Golf - 6068 metre par 72 fully grassed 18-hole golf course.  Situated on the banks of the ephemeral Swakop River, Rossmund is only one of five desert golf courses in the world. Stroll amongst the wild life and enjoy the resident buck, guinea fowl and morning duets of the desert strike.

• Hot Air ballooning - Early morning flights in a hot air balloon over the Namib or at the back of the dune belt followed by a champagne breakfast
